  • What is the deadline for registering projects in Videocamp Film Fund?

    Registrations will be accepted until July, 10st, 2018 up to 11:59 pm.

  • In which languages can I send my project?

    We only accept projects in English or Portuguese from Brazil.

  • Is there any cost for me to present my project?

    There is no charge to register my project at Videocamp Film Fund.

  • Who can submit projects?

    Independent producers from any country, with legal representatives over 18.

  • This is my first experience as a director/producer/screenwriter. Can I sign up my project?

    Yes! Bear in mind that one of the evaluation criteria is the experience of the team members, however this is not mandatory.

  • What types of movies can be submitted to the Fund?

    We accept fictional, documentary or animation projects with a minimum duration of 30 minutes. We look for movies that cause reflection and stimulate debate about inclusive education, with the intention of promoting change and generating positive impact on society.

  • Can I submit more than one proposal for this Fund?

    Yes. There is no limit to the number of projects sent by each producer.

  • At what stage of my project should I apply for VIDEOCAMP'S Transformative Movies?

    We accept projects at any stage of development, however they have to follow the Terms and Conditions of this Film Fund.

  • I have already received another type of financing for my project. Can I submit it to the Fund?

    Yes, you can submit your project if only you follow the Terms and Conditions for this Fund

  • Can I apply for other funds to complement my budget?

    No. We will only receive proposals that can be produced with the value made available to the Fund or if it had already received funds prior to registering to the Videocamp Film Fund.

  • What should I do if my project receives a contribution from another source until the result of the Bid does not come out?

    You must contact the Fund organization by the Email filmfund@videocamp.com. Your registration and evaluation of the project will be disregarded.

  • What is the Bechdel Test?

    Bechdel test evaluates whether a work of fiction features at least two women who talk to each other about something other than a man. Sometimes the requirement that the two women have names is sometimes added. The test is named as a tribute to the American cartoonist Alison Bechdel.

  • Can I ask VIDEOCAMP'S team to review any item of my proposal before submitting it?


  • Can I change the form after submitting it?


  • I have sent a project. How will I know if my proposal has been accepted by the system?

    After completing and sending your registration, you will receive an Email as a confirmation. If you do not receive it, we recommend that you check your provider's spam box.

  • When and how will the selected project be announced?

    The selected project will be announced by the Videocamp Film Fund website and by VIDEOCAMP’S social media until 09/21/2018.

  • How will the project be chosen?

    The project should focus on the Inclusive education. In addition, technical criteria will also be taken into account. Registered projects will initially be evaluated by a Preliminary Committee and by a Technical Committee. Those who are classified in this first stage will be evaluated by a Selection Committee, which will choose 5 finalist projects. The finalists should make a virtual pitching for the juries of the Selection Committee. After the pitching, the Committee will re-evaluate the finalists and announce the selected project.

  • If my project is selected at VIDEOCAMP'S Film Fund, what are the possibilities of the movie distribution?

    You can launch it on VIDEOCAMP, in cinemas and festivals. After one month of the launch at cinemas, you can also release it on VOD and other platforms.

  • Should the audiovisual work be registered in Ancine (Brazilian Movie National Body) or be registered after the selection? I have not found anything related to it in the regulation.

    If you only want to distribute your movie on VIDEOCAMP, it does not have to be registered in Ancine (Brazilian Movie National Body). However, we encourage you to show your movie through other windows. If so, registration is required.

  • Will I be contacted if my project is not chosen?

    Yes. We will send you an Email. However, individual concerns and details about your project will not be shared.
